An Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) provides you with an opportunity to be involved, known & loved within Mount Vernon. ABF classes provide opportunities for Bible study, building relationships, prayer & service. ABFs are groups of about 8-100 members who meet together each Sunday. The size of these groups makes interactive learning very effective and relationships easy to form. Christians in Action (CIA) – All Ages/E202 – Teacher: John Jimison – Study/Topic: Bible Studies for Life
A group of adults who use the Bible Studies for Life curriculum to explore biblical truths in a practical, interactive format. Each session encourages members to share personal stories, discuss likes and dislikes, and recall memories that relate to the week’s topic, connecting everyday experiences with Scripture. Through group discussions and hands-on activities, members build relationships and deepen their faith in a welcoming, engaging environment.

A friendly and supportive mature ladies’ Bible study group focusing on diving deep into Scripture using the Explore the Bible curriculum. They study entire books of the Bible for a thorough understanding of God’s Word. Along with engaging Bible study and meaningful prayer time, the group offers many social opportunities to build lasting friendships in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to grow in faith, connect with other women, and find encouragement for life’s journey.

This group is dedicated to building one another up by praising God for His gifts, love, and answered prayers. Weekly updates on prayer requests help members support and uplift each other through prayer. With monthly fellowships for both men and women, the Encouragers foster meaningful connections and a strong sense of community, making it a welcoming place for spiritual growth and encouragement.
