Associate Pastor for Adult Discipleship
Seeking a candidate who is spiritually mature, theologically grounded, and called to pastoral ministry. Should demonstrate a passion for discipling adults and equipping them to grow in Christ through biblical community, transformational teaching, and missional living. Should desire to invest in college-age and young adults, leading them to fully assimilate into the life of the church. Must possess strong leadership skills and a collaborative spirit, able to build teams and develop leaders across a variety of adult ministry areas. Should be committed to Mount Vernon’s mission to make disciples and foster a church-wide culture of spiritual growth and biblical engagement. Clear communication, both verbal and written, and the ability to lead with vision and care are essential.

Audio/Visual Technician
We are seeking a strong Christian individual with experience and knowledge to operate audio, video, visual, and lighting requirements for Mount Vernon Baptist Church. This position will support all Sunday, Wednesday evening, Thursday evening programming and special worship services as needed. The right candidate should have experience in some combination of the following: audio engineering, video production/editing, stage lighting, and live streaming.

Ministry Assistant for Student Ministry
The Ministry Assistant for Student Ministries is responsible for and passionate about connecting students and families with the Lord and with each other. This person will help to coordinate and provide resources that will enhance the discipleship development of the student ministries. This person will coordinate the connection of our students with each other and our adult volunteer leaders as well as better connecting the parents with their students, adult leaders and other families within the church. This person should be willing and excited to work to create better communication and administrative systems using the latest technology. This person will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills to recruit and coordinate volunteers, assist students and parents, and work with other ministries within the church.

Childcare Worker
The position of Childcare Worker is part-time and hours vary. This position reports to the Childcare Coordinator. A Childcare Worker provides a safe, structured, Christ-honoring environment for children attending childcare during Mount Vernon Baptist Church (MVBC) programming and special events. A Childcare Worker works in a team of two or more Childcare Workers to uphold all policies and procedures as outlined in MVBC Childcare Worker Policies.
