The Mount Vernon Parenting Conference is designed to equip parents with biblical tools to navigate these challenges confidently. This year, we are excited to welcome Hillary Ferrer, author and leader of Mama Bear Apologetics, a ministry dedicated to helping parents teach their children and students how to engage with culture while standing firm in their faith.

Cultural narratives can be deceptive. Using the ROAR method, parents will learn a simple four-step approach to help their kids analyze and respond to cultural messages with wisdom and grace.

- 10:15 AM – 11:30 AM Session 2: Linguistic Theft: Identifying Unbiblical Ideas Wrapped in Christian Sounding Words
Our world is all about justice and equality, which sound really good. But often they are using these Christian words to sneak in an unbiblical idea. Come to this session to learn about how linguistic theft works, how to spot when a buzzword is being used, and which buzzwords to be on the lookout for.

The world’s conversation around sexuality is rapidly shifting, and so is the way our kids are being taught. This session exposes modern influences in sex education and equips parents to respond with biblical truth.
